Very disappointed with my experience with Immo VerCruysse, specifically with their employee Jari De Roose. During the visit, he was almost constantly on his phone, which gave a very unprofessional impression. As a potential tenant/buyer, you expect some level of guidance and engagement, but this was completely lacking. In addition, he was poorly prepared: he did not have the keys to the garage, so it could not be viewed. He told me I was required to send an email to receive photos, claiming this was “more efficient” and “how it works.” This is already questionable, but it became even worse when, after sending the email, I was told that the photos would only be provided if the landlord decided to proceed with my application. In other words, you are expected to show interest and make an effort first, but then you are not given essential information in return. This is not transparent at all and far from customer-oriented. The explanation about the gas boiler was also incorrect. During the visit, it was stated that there was one central boiler for two apartments, only to be corrected later by email. This clearly shows a lack of knowledge about the property. He also made an inappropriate remark by saying that, if we were to get the apartment, he would carry out yearly inspections to check whether we were smoking. This was despite us clearly stating that we do not smoke inside the apartment, only on the terrace. This comment felt unnecessarily controlling and uncomfortable. Finally, during the visit, he simply closed the kitchen door to have a private conversation with others while I was still looking around. This is completely disrespectful and unprofessional. In summary: poor preparation, inadequate communication, unprofessional behavior, and a lack of respect for potential clients. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Immo VerCruysse at all.
