Appartement gehuurd in Ixelles
I was looking for an apartment to rent and ended up with Expat Housing because they are known for their reputation. Catherine guided us through the process, from the notarial deed to the viewing of the property. The transactions went smoothly. There is one negative point that I did not like very much. On the day of my move, the apartment was dirty and I could not move in on the day I received the key. I moved in a week later because it took a while to clean it, etc. I do think it is the estate agent's responsibility to ensure that the property is clean. I also sent an email about this and she was very friendly and supportive about it. I would definitely recommend her, despite the problem I experienced.
Hi Luciana, Many thanks for your message. I'm very sorry to have discovered with you that the flat was not properly cleaned when we checked in. However, the owners had sent a cleaner. Unfortunately, I didn't have the keys before our appointment (I don't manage the flat and the owners live abroad) and the tenant had just left the flat. We didn't think it would be in such a bad state. With some goodwill on the part of the owners and yourself, we were finally able to sort everything out. I wish you every happiness in this beautiful flat!
