We experienced a significant disappointment with the recent property viewing process. The appointment, while commencing promptly, quickly exposed the agent's (Eli) inability to answer fundamental questions, though this was a secondary concern. Despite our timely submission of the required deposit and all requested documentation, complications arose. It was subsequently revealed that the property owner was reportedly unaware that the agency was actively marketing the house for rent. Furthermore, despite our full compliance with all procedural requirements, the owner elected to continue showing the house, and no justification for this decision was provided to us. It is critical to highlight that the agency retained our deposit for a period of two weeks without any clear rationale. Communication throughout this process was severely lacking, with email responses consistently delayed by a minimum of three to four days. This demonstrates a clear deficiency in the agency's preparation and professionalism. In summary, the service rendered was unsatisfactory, and we strongly advise prospective renters to seek representation from a more competent and detail-oriented agency. I strongly recommend that everyone use another agency to avoid the non-competency and all the burden coming with it. ***Edit*** I don’t wish to comment much on the response from the owner/agency, besides that it far from the truth. For the record, the deposit was transferred on the 20th of October and the return date of the deposit is the 3rd of November, Monday 6:02 PM. That’s more than 10 days, and we must state that you have 7 days to return the deposit according to your paperwork. I have all emails and transfer slips as proof. Bending the truth won’t help your business. I’m glad we did not end up signing.
