Servaas Taelman - Brugge

De foto’s en website doen het er allemaal mooier en meer glamoureus uitzien. De locatie zelf is effectief wel heel mooi. En het is praktisch gelegen ten opzichte van Brugge. De kamer zelf (in het hoofdgebouw) was heel basic. Een tapijten vloerbekleding kan voor mensen met allergie tegenvallen. De kamer was OK, maar basic. Vervelender was het lawaai van hotelgasten boven ons of hotelgasten die de trap afkwamen naar het ontbijt/restaurant. Onze kamer op het gelijkvloers zat vlak naast de lift en je hoorde alles redelijk goed. Geen nood om een wekker te zetten. Aan de receptie stond een elektronische bel voor als iemand afwezig was. Ook deze kon je heel goed horen tot in de kamer.

This was an amazing stay in Brussels. It’s very conveniently located and only 5 minutes drive from the main city centre. There is no staff if you check in late, but if you book from their website, they offer a very affordable price and have everything ready and waiting for you on arrival. The property is vast and beautiful! The gardens are well kept and they offer free breakfast which included a wide variety of options. The staff was very kind. The gardens are worth a nice morning stroll. The rooms are nice and comfortable with all basic amenities. There’s a lift on the property and accommodations available for families. They also provide free parking on site which is always great. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Bruges looking for a well priced and comfortable stay with a interesting history.
