I was charged €1,750 for utilities over a three-month stay in a 60 m² apartment. During this period, I was away for roughly half of the time due to travel. When absent, the heating was turned off, and even when present it was reduced at night to around 12–15°C. While the calculation itself may be correct, the issue was the lack of proper transparency regarding expected consumption levels when renting the apartment. With clearer upfront information, expectations would have been better aligned and this situation likely avoided. More transparency on typical utility costs would be highly appreciated for future guests. For the rest, service was good.
