Very disappointing experience. AXA health insurance. I submitted a medical claim in 2024 and received no response for almost two years. I only received a reply after informing AXA that I would file a formal complaint. When they finally responded, they stated that the policy was not valid because it was purchased after arrival in the Schengen area — yet they refused to refund the premium. Since then, I have been sent in repeated email loops and asked multiple times for passport entry and exit stamps that do not exist for EU/visa-exempt travellers, even after providing my passport and explaining this clearly. Despite confirming that the contract could not take effect, AXA has avoided giving a clear answer on reimbursement and continues requesting irrelevant documents instead of resolving the issue. I am sharing this so other customers are aware of how long responses can take, how cases may be handled, and how difficult it can be to reach a clear resolution. The process has been extremely time-consuming and frustrating. I strongly recommend reading all terms very carefully and being prepared for significant delays if an issue arises.

Blijf zo ver mogelijk weg van AXA, waar men balanceert op het randje van ethiek. Dit bedrijf geeft enkel om winstgevendheid en aandeelhouders, niet om de personen die ze verzekeren.
