L'agence prend systématiquement 200 euros pour le nettoyage au moment de l'état des lieux, même si l'appartement est déjà très bien nettoyé. Aucune négociation n'est possible avec eux. Attention, il s'agit d'un arnaque car l'agent qui est présent lors de l'état des lieux trouve des excuses pour prendre ces 200 euros sur le montant de la caution.
The staff is so friendly, it's surprising. The insulation is questionable, heater and carpet so old that whatever discount you get on rent, is made up by extensive electricity bills. I wasn't a fan of th bricks but now they are growing on me. But the thing I've been struggling with is the insulation of the building. I got my own electric heater but the room gets cold after every 2 hours. Sometimes, people leave garbage around, making the corridors stinky. The staff is so nice so far but it's probably because of the intake season. Let's see if it's equally fast service and cleanliness in December.

Mon kot aurait été correct si je l'avais payé 2 fois moins cher. Mais l'accueil était réactif, et je n'ai pas trouvé moins cher à Bruxelles à part des places de parking.
Résidence très agréable, au calme et dans la verdure. L'Agence Eckelmans gère la résidence de manière efficace. Au moindre problème dans votre studio, un technicien arrive pour résoudre votre problème. Je recommande !
If I could, I would even give 0 stars. I lived there 4 years and the rooms that I've been in (new and old building) were extremely bad (smelly hallways, drug issue, loud, unsafe, dirty,...). The people of the agency are also unprofessional, mostly unreachable, badly mannered and very rude. Their help is mostly, if not always, very awful. I had a vent problem where the vents in the bathroom made constant loud highpitched noise and they did stupid stuff to TRY to fix it, like putting a cloth in it instead of cleaning those veryyy dirty vents??? They also told me to get someone myself to fix it and to pay for it myself, eventhough it's THEIR job to fix this issue lmao... Just very unprofessional. I also got my new room in the new building in a VERY BAD state. The room was OBVIOUSLY not cleaned before I got the room. They also never let me visit the room before the day of signing the papers for the room. The walls of the studio were dirty and there were dirty yellow, orange and red marks on them EVERYWHERE. The bathoom was dirty, the kitchen was greasy and very dirty too. I had to BEG for someone to clean the studio. In the end (after several calls and mails because they rarely respond after a day eventhough they are clearly in the agency) someone finally came, and they cleaned it badly and only the entrance of the studio+ they damaged my kitchen. So, awful help. The people that work there also make 'mistakes' to make you pay more and they raise their prices for stupid reasons. I had to almost threaten them to sue them to get my money back from my deposit that I had to pay in the beginning of living there, because they didn't want to pay me back for a reason that was a fault on THEIR END. Just straight up money hungry people working there. There are probably LOTS MORE REASONS why I think you shouldn't live there, but you get my point after those (few of many!) examples I have given here. PLEASE DONT LIVE THERE, for your safety and mental health. I could even say that I'm traumatized after living there. Just trust me on this.
