I sought private French lessons after several years of living in Brussels and trying to learn French through self-teaching and online courses with little progress. The programme with Louis has far exceeded my expectations and is undoubtedly one of the best investments I've ever made in my education. His individual learning plans incorporate storytelling, educational videos, interactive materials and quizzes that he developed himself; these materials make French grammar accessible and easy to understand, including concepts that I previously considered to be very complicated. Each lesson plan is tailored to individual students and their learning styles, and uses pedagogical practices that help students to absorb and use new information quickly. I never get bored during lessons (the 90 minutes often fly by very quickly) and after 2 months of bi-weekly lessons I noticed big improvements in my ability to understand and interact with others. Daily life in Brussels has since become much easier, not only in casual settings but also in bureaucratic/administrative and medical settings. Another big advantage of learning eith Louis is his flexibility- unlike with bigger language schools, I can schedule individual sessions with Louis whenever they suit me, and take them either online or in person. Payment is also made on an ongoing basis, rather than big sums being demanded up front. The efficiency and flexibility of his format and approach have enabled me to make quick progress while scheduling my lessons easily around other commitments. I highly recommend him as a teacher!
